Tree Hugging

Long twigs reached out from the tree like bony fingers. They caught in her hair, wrapping around the long golden locks. She tried to jiggle her head free, but the twigs’ grip tightened. Thick branches wrapped around her waist, pulling her back against the trunk and crushing her fragile body.
