50 Word Story Tongue Tied

Tongue Tied

It started as a tiny seed trapped underneath a temporary filling in one of Terry’s molars. Too many glasses of lemonade caused the seed to sprout and take root in his gums. Tiny tendrils spread throughout his mouth, cracking his teeth and wrapping his tongue in a stringy green shroud.

    Great story. I really liked the last line “Tiny tendrils spread throughout his mouth, cracking his teeth and wrapping his tongue in a stringy green shroud.” And I started imagining this guy’s life from that point forward. I think it would be quite interesting.
